Clip studio paint - Properly import a mp4 file
If you import a mp4 file in clip studio the intended way (file - import - mp4), it will make the csp file very laggy which can prevent you from working smoothly :(
So I came up with some workarounds to this and I will explain them :
First, as a general principle, an image sequence is preferable than a mp4 file. Clip studio is better optimized to read a succession of images than a video file ! You could convert your video file into an image sequence, and then import it in an animation folder.
How to convert video into image sequence (outside csp)
I use a free software called FFmpeg.- Install it, then open the mp4 file with "open with - ffmpeg"
- Select "image extraction wizard"
- Select "every frame"
